My role is to oversee the day to day running of our busy vehicle maintenance department. Liaising closely with customers, drivers and suppliers to maximise our workshop efficiency whilst minimising vehicle downtime.

Working in a fast paced environment with everyday providing different challenges.

I spend my spare time watching my two boys play rugby, continually shouting encouragement from the sidelines. I also spend my evenings and weekends on my own farm, rearing a small commercial and pedigree Angus herd.

I would swap roles with Gerry Gallagher, our Group Planning Manager. I would like to learn more about the logistics side of such a vast and busy transport operation.

In my younger years, I played schools rugby with Rory Best during my time at College.
